Bungalows with kitchenettes

The air-conditioned bungalows at Iris Retreat include a private bathroom, tea-and-coffee making facilities, and a kitchenette. Beds are draped with mosquito nets. Options include the Riverside Cottage with an open-air outdoor shower, the Bungalow with Patio overlooking the river, and the Deluxe Bungalow with Garden View. All rooms feature a private patio with BBQ facilities and free Wi-Fi.

Slow food dining

The resort focuses on 'slow food' with a daily-changing menu that mixes Italian and South African cuisine. Breakfast can be delivered to your bungalow. Lunch is served poolside. Guests can also use the BBQ facilities or order wine and champagne. The kitchenettes allow for self-catering.

Spa and river views

The on-site spa offers massages, body scrubs, manicures, and pedicures in treatment rooms overlooking the Magalies River. The outdoor swimming pool has a shallow end and sun loungers. Near Hartbeespoort Dam

Iris Retreat is on a natural island in the Magalies River, a 15-minute drive from Hartbeespoort Dam. Die Ou Pastorie and Magaliesberg Nature Park are nearby. Brits is 30 minutes away, and Pretoria is reachable within an hour by car. Free parking is provided.
